Ballet+Jewels = Van Cleef & Arpels
Ballet and jewels, what's the better combination?
They're both classic, elegent, artistic, and beautiful,
and they've been connected in at least one way for the last 40 years
-- through the ballet "Jewels" and its original inspiration:
the shop window of Van Cleef & Arpels jewelers.
I found it while reading the VOGUE to know more about the ballet and jewels.
In celebration of the ballet's 40th anniversary,
Van Cleef & Arpels has created a dance-inspired collection. The ballerina clip pictured here is white gold set with white and gray diamonds. Her face is a rose cut diamond, and I just love the little golden accents on her hat and pointe shoes.
